Roasted vegetables

Essential side dish, requiring almost no resources except oil and the vegetable you want to cook.

Ingredients Needed

  • Vegetable
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Oil
  • Any other seasonings (eg cumin, paprika, etc)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to (see table) fan.
  2. Line a baking tray with foil so you don’t have to wash it up afterwards.
  3. Wash the vegetable (if required) and pat dry with paper towels.
  4. Peel/chop the vegetable into pieces (if required)
  5. Spread onto baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, then season with salt and pepper and any other seasonings.
  6. Use hands to toss until evenly coated with oil; spread out in a single layer.
  7. Roast in the preheated oven until cooked for (see table) mins.
